2024 Festival Registration
Registration is now open...registration deadline is January 29th, 2024!
(Late registrations will be accepted until February 2nd with a $10 Late Fee)

Registration can be done through Music Festival Suite portal. Parents, Students, Teachers, Accompanists and Volunteers must create a profile to stay connected and up to date on festival information.

Registration: Getting Started
If you already created a festival profile last year you are all set...just login to your account to get started!
Are you new to the KW Kiwanis Music Festival? In order to register you must first create a profile in Music Festival Suite. See below for tips on getting set up or click on the link above to get started.

Did you get a confirmation email after creating your profile? If not....check your Spam Folder! And be sure to mark new emails as "Not Junk" so that festival communications go to your Inbox.

Have you already created a Music Festival Suite profile for another festival? You can use the same profile!

Login to your MFS account for the other festival

Click on the Menu and select “Linked Profiles”

Click on “Export Profile to Other Festivals”

Find “Kitchener-Waterloo Kiwanis Music Festival” in the drop-down menu

Review the Terms & Conditions and click on “Export Profile”
Profile Roles
-
When you create a new profile select any or all roles that apply to you. For example, you could be a Parent, Teacher, and a Volunteer

Once you have created a profile you can still add roles. Click on “Edit Profile” and check any roles that apply.

Parents & Children

Parents first create a profile for yourself, then create a profile for each of your children who wish to register for classes.

Ask your teacher and/or accompanist for their Profile ID so that they can stay up to date with your class registrations.

If you do not have a teacher, then the Parent must indicate that they are the Teacher as well. To do this click on “Edit Profile” and check any roles that may apply including “Entrant’s Teacher”

Start selecting classes for registration by clicking on the “Registration” button. Everything you select will be saved until you are ready to pay…registration is completed once the payment has been made.
Adult Participants

Create your own profile, select the “Entrant” option.

Ask your teacher and/or accompanist for their Profile ID so that they can stay up to date with your class registrations. If you do not have a teacher, you will have an option to select “Self-Taught”

Start selecting classes for registration by clicking on the “Registration” button. Everything you select will be saved until you are ready to pay…registration is completed once the payment has been made.

Private Teachers & Accompanists

Create your own profile to stay up to date on your students’ registrations. You will be able to see which classes they have signed up for, when those classes are scheduled, and you will be able to view their comment sheets and marks.

To stay up to date with your students’ info click on the Menu and select “Linked Profiles”, then click “Email Your ID To Others”. Enter in the email addresses of your students and click “Send ID”

Teachers can also take care of registering for classes on behalf of their students once their accounts are linked. For instructions on how to do this visit our Frequently Asked Questions page

School & Community Leaders

First create an “Entrant’s Teacher/Group Leader” profile (if you have more than one teacher/leader in your organization they may wish to create their own profile as well)

Next you will need to create a profile for each ensemble you wish to enter. To do this click on the Menu and select "Linked Profiles", and click on "Create a Group Participant Profile"

Fill in the fields with your group’s information. At the bottom of the page you can add the Profie ID’s for other teachers in your organization so they will also be able to access the group’s info.

You will get a confirmation email for the new account you create. You will then be able to sign in to your Teacher profile or the Group profile to complete the registration

Click on Menu, then Registrations to start selecting classes. You can choose to assign the class payment to the group or the teacher. If assigned to the teacher you can access the invoice by logging into your Teacher Profile, click on Menu, then click on Account.
Volunteers

New this year volunteers will also need to create a profile to stay connected with festival news and updates, and to access your volunteer schedule.

Select “Volunteer or Administrator” when you create a profile. Once you register you will be contacted by email about your availability.
